Fast and Preposterous

Well, at least they didn't go out of thier way to make the movie realistic or anything.. That might have really put a damper on things. ;)

As preposterous as it may be, I think I saw a BUICK Grand National in there, which means I might stoop to rent this crapfest just to see the cool car.

If I'm not mistaken, he was sporting "The Fastest Living Room Ever Built" in the original too.

I never saw any of these movies. You mean to tell me I've been missing out on seeing the AWESOME Regal Grand National sweet-ass V6 powerhouse on the silver screen.

Fastest living room? Hey!!

Buicks are the best.

A Grand National is fast and tough, and still big enough to have sex in.

I'd love to take credit for calling it that, but I'm sure it was in an issue of Car and Driver just after the 87 Grand National went on sale. And to be fair to the Fast and Furious movies, they have ALWAYS been fairly preposterous. The original IS worth a watch.

I have a crush on Vin Diesel, and I know I shouldn't for many, many reasons.

Well, we will just have to go see the movie then. :)

I'm not sure if I would like the movie if he wasn't in it. I tried watching the one without him in it (was it the second one?), and bleh. Of course, I don't think good content was the goal with this movie. Just the fast cars and hot actors.
