The Original Mono

I know this sounds like a way out there criticism, but i'm sad that the Blu-Ray version of The Terminator does not offer an (Original) Mono mix of the film. There was always something gritty about the mono sound that I enjoyed.  The DVD has it, but not the Blu-Ray. I guess it somehow added to the almost "Grindhouse" feel of the original film as a (Really Awesome) B-Movie.

*Of course the REAL problem with the Blu-Ray version is the resolution is so high all the special effects look phony

Lol.. Yeah, or I could press the MONO button on my receiver. I DID try that, but its still too high fidelity. What i'm getting at is the charm of a film that's been played a few hundred times. As a madstoner you should be able to appreciate that. :)

The dollar show we ran had more of that feel. We still had pretty good audio back when it was the stone.

there's the rub!
how can a redux hi-def blow out resolution print of anything that does not have a master negative print in pristine condition be worth a damn?

so many movies are going to suck out loud in hidef.
