The Future

Dear Heroes, don't make the same mistake Star Trek did with Time Travel.

By having all the "Exciting" events in "The Future" you rob the story of drama and stunt the growth of the "present" story. Don't save all the exciting or interesting character developments for a pseudo version of the characters that may or may not come to pass. Let the characters grow or develop as they would in the present, mistakes and all. People make real mistakes in life and lack a time travel plot device to go back and change those "mistakes". So as cool as "Samurai Hiro" is, or as awesome as "Sexy Claire" make those characters real in the PRESENT storyline, not the nebulous "Future" one.

I'm ignoring your spoilers right now, because I didn't get to see most of the last half. Since I was in the house doing laundry, I was watching it on the tv there. When my mom got home, she had to get her Horatio fix. She thinks he's ridiculous as I do, and often makes comments and snide remarks about him, yet she CAN'T.STOP.WATCHING! I make fun of her, and she just says, "I know."

My love for CSI: Miami is entirely based on how preposterous he is as a character. I love to hate that show.

I'm pretty sure that's how my mom feels, even though she doesn't use those exact words. It's like a train wreck or something. She kept commenting on "those stupid glasses" and "I hate that he stands like that all the time."

It looks like you and my mom might have something in common. Are you going to start calling me at the most inopportune moments now, too? ;)

I would, but your phone would be busy. ;)
